We manufacture over 1,400 products for the gift industry including candles and home d cor.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for all of our companies production runs, managing the production team and ensuring equipment is all in working order.
This pivotal management position is responsible for each of the following areas:
Managing the production team across the full production floor.
The complete management of all products, raw material storage, rotation of raw material and overall product quality.
Managing the flow of raw materials, production and finished goods through our systems.
Handle basic maintenance on our equipment and ensure all preventative maintenance is done during slow times.
Ensure the manufacturing lines are fully operational at all times and we are maximizing the production schedule while minimizing mistakes.
The facility is cleaned and organized on a daily/weekly basis Tanks and production equipment is reviewed on a monthly basis to ensure we prevent any breakdowns Ensure that we are receiving the maximum effort out of all employees on the floor at all times.
Control all costs in the warehouse including wasted raw materials, employee hours etc.
Remain professional with all employees at all times This is not a desk position, you should plan to be on your feet for most of the day working throughout the warehouse.
Experience:
5
years in a supervisory management role in a manufacturing company.
5
years working in a manufacturing role, either manufacturing product or leading the manufacturing.
Clear problem solving skills Ability to fix minor repairs on machine parts Ability to multitask Experience in hiring, terminating and developing teams Job Type:
